The Adirondack Chapter is dedicated to education through the Youth Development Program.  This program, chaired by Neil Satterly, built a small wooden outboard boat from the ground up.  The "Adironduck" has been displayed and run at ADC shows.

NYS Boater Safety Course Offered

    Adirondack Chapter Youth Development Chair Neil Satterly will offer the eight-hour NYS Boater Safety course at Lynnwood Reformed Church in Guilderland on June 23 and 25 from 6 PM to 10 PM both nights. This course is required for power boat operators ages 12 to 17 wanting to operate solo. It is also required of ALL personal watercraft operators age 14 and over. Successfully completing the course and passing the exam will yield a NYS Boater Safety certificate which is good for life.
