FALL WORKSHOP AT CUTWATER BOATWORKS

On a crisp autumn day, the Fall Workshop was hosted by Cutwater Boatworks in Greenfield Center, NY.  Owner Kent Smith and his assistant, Rod Sprattling demonstrated the router method of side planking, bleaching, staining and varnishing techniques, how to roll a boat over and how to winterize an inboard.  Maria Johnson of Cherry Hill Boatworks gave a presentation on upholstery.  Look for the full story in the next issue of Fourth Watch.  Photos by Neil Satterly and Marsha Smith.
